There were more participants in this class than the 1st session. The words “Perspective” and “Reframing” seems to play an important role in coaching clients. I am already in my mind trying to break the words down into simple language for clients to understand in the 1st session. “Point of view” is as simple as it gets. The external clients that I will be coaching will be housekeeping and security staff in my organization and I am going to have to find ways of putting the life coaching in very basic words so that they will understand what I am saying and will feel comfortable in the sessions.
The question really is: how do you as a coach keep from becoming drained at the end of the day from coaching?
I can think of only one good answer: Head down to Trotters after a day of coaching and have a cold tall glass of orange juice and good conversation with friends and if Alfred is there, I know I will end up laughing all night. That is my solution…….
