This session was very interesting. Claire made us really think by asking pointed questions which if you had not done any reading, you would have been in trouble. I was happy that I was up at 3am that morning and I read. What I have to do now, having done the session, is to formulate in my mind what it is all about. I find that by writing down the key issues and thinking about it really helps to put things in place. I have to also spend some time doing the reflection and application exercises and posting the information to the discussion board. Good thing I have my Dad’s laptop that I can use for now.
I have applied to be a client for peer coaching which is part of the programme. Would be interesting to see how that works out. Have had 2 responses so far.
The beginning of the programme is challenging until one gets familiar with the jargon and start doing the reflection exercises.
“It is all a matter of how you look at it” – Coachfucious – this is such a great way of simplifying the word “Perspective”.
Like any form of study, one has to give it the time – like my law teacher used to say: Law is like a jealous mistress… you must devote time to her. How true….
So this weekend, I shall be spending some time not just for the coaching programme but I have to start getting my brain to wrap around my studies for law as well. I have already been slapped on the wrist by my law mentor for not starting on schedule and I don’t want to lose him as my mentor – great guy!
