I had to do a make up class as there was no internet access on the designated date. This class made me realize that being a teleclass coach, one needs a lot of patience and have the ability to enthuse students. There is a need to have at least one student on the call who is not afraid to make honest statements about him/her self. It makes people realize that it is OK to make honest statements and come out of the shadows and contribute to the conversation, as students and coach are NOT there to judge anyone.
We addressed the suggested outline for Trial Sessions as per ICA. The important issue that came out of the suggested outline is that the coach has to keep the “sales hat” out of the session and maintain the “coaching hat” on. Yes, the coach wants the prospective client to sign up but the coach needs to go into each trial session looking for what will best support the prospective client.
I needed to spend alot of time on this and still do. Revisiting the material, understanding it and putting the process down on page so that it resonated with me.
