I have missed posting on the 5 & 6th of November, but I am not going to fret about it. Instead I will do 3 posts to make up for it and stick to my commitment. The problem sometimes is “what do I write”? My day is going pretty good like everyone else, grocery, work, hussling my son to lessons as he has SEA next year, talking to clients….. ahhhh, now I have something to talk about that. Years ago, I taught myself to read tarot cards using “Learning The Tarot” by Joan Bunning – excellent book – and to develop my intuition (I was good). One of the things that was taught is “how to make a shield of white light for protection”. Let me explain – from my experience, after I do a coaching session with a client, I am totally drained to the point where I want to sleep and I have a slight headache. I have found that I am so intent on listening to the words of the client; coaching in the moment and the energy being emitted by the client affects me. In order to deal with this, the idea of getting back into the practice of visualizing a ball of white light which I used during my tarot reading days, occurred to me.
Someone told me that when she does sessions with friends, she is able to manage the negativity by compartmentalizing those sessions. My comment to her was “what are you going to do when that compartment gets to overload? Her response was that she would be spending a lot money on a psychiatrist. I advised her to use the method of using the white light. Cheaper….
Below, I have put the exercise for developing this practice for anyone who is interested.
How to Make a Shield of White Light for Protection – can be used when talking to people with problems….
Someplace inside you, is the ability to generate a shield. Making use of white light for protection is not difficult to do. You just ought to do this easy daily activity (either prior to bed time, or the first thing when you wake up):
Step 1: Place yourself in any position that you are most comfortable in. Breathe deeply and slowly to begin releasing all the pressure and anxiousness in you. Quite simply, be in a meditative status.
Step 2: Then, continue by visualizing a ball of white light floating above you. You concentrate on the energy of the ball; imagine that the energy ball is full of white light — love and strength and peace. Try hard to let your inner psychic ability to sense these qualities in the energy of the ball.
Step 3: Once you have that energy ball in place, the last step is to allow the energy from the ball of light to flow into you, and visualize that it is forming a white shield around you.
There you have it! Literally as easy as 1-2-3 to tap into your inner ability of creating a shield! But of course, you must remember that you need to do this exercise daily. Don’t expect your shield to be that strong right away. As time passes and with regular practice, your ability to create a protective shield will surely increase in power.
